TubeSaver® is a retrofit conversion pack for both switch start and quick start luminaires, which enables the installation of a T5 High Frequency System into old style fittings that lack today's energy saving technology. The product simply plugs into the existing luminaires, transforming them electronically from conventional control gear to new generation high frequency operation. Substantial cost savings can be made, accompanied by a dramatic lowering of energy consumption.
 At the leading family entertainment centre Bowlplex, Tubesaver® T5 conversion kits from Ecotronic® have been installed throughout its entire estate of 17 UK locations, from Poole, Dorset to Glasgow in Scotland.
The group has also recently equipped its locations with the new Venture HID energy saving ballast, to retrofit its floodlighting requirements and provide a 55% reduction in energy consumed.

- Rising Energy Costs
Rising energy prices and higher taxes are the biggest worries facing British businesses in 2010 after the state of the economy, according to new research released today by the Carbon Trust.
