EcoBAY® IP65 was launched in late 2010 after 9 months of intensive design, development & testing. The leader in its class, EcoBAY® IP65 has a robust fully welded body and heavy gauge stainless steel fasteners, offering the complete solution to any environment. Significant benefits come in the form of a sealed quick release lid, complete with shatterproof polycarbonate or toughened glass.
The unit has all the energy saving advantages of the EcoBAY® rangeand utilises the same unique "gull-wing" reflector technology, qualifying for Enhanced Capital Allowance.
EcoBAY® IP65 was engineered with a remote gear pack to avoid overheating, a major cause of premature ballast failure. Thus is ideal for areas with high ambient temperatures such as the eaves of an industrial building. The remote gear pack has the same easy access & durable fastening system of the main casing, avoiding the need to open the fitting to access control gear.

Ingress from water & dust is avoided by the use of a heavy duty automotive gasket, giving EcoBAY® IP65 longevity of service within any environment. The unit is particularly resistant to adverse ambient conditions and rises to any challenge offered in the workplace today.

- Rising Energy Costs
Rising energy prices and higher taxes are the biggest worries facing British businesses in 2010 after the state of the economy, according to new research released today by the Carbon Trust.
